1. For the first time in 70 years, Indian PM Narendra Modi visited Israel. Israel President Benjamin Netanyahu extended a warm welcome to PM Modi.

2. New Israeli Crysanthemum flower named after Indian PM Narendra Modi. The step came as a special gesture to mark the first visit of an Indian PM to the Jewish nation.

3. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) was launched by the PM of India Narendra Modi. The launch was marked by a historic midnight (30 June-1 July) session of both the houses of the Parliament convened at the Central Hall of the Parliament.

4. Pakistan made history by beating India in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at the Oval on 18 June 2017. Pakistan became the fourth team after West Indies, Sri Lanka and India to win the World Cup, World T20 and Champions trophy.

5. The ISRO-developed integrated circuit (IC) chips will be installed in Mumbai and Guwahati Rajdhani trains to alert road users at unmanned level crossings about approaching trains.

6. The Government has made Aadhar card mandatory for opening bank accounts and carrying out financial transactions above Rs.50,000. Existing account holders have been asked to link their Aadhar card numbers with account numbers by 31 December 2017.

7. According to a recently released CRY Report on child labour, more than 8 lakh children between 5-6 years in India are engaged in child labour. CRY (Child Relief and You) is an NGO working towards the upliftment of underprivileged children. It was established in 1979 by Rippan Kapur. UP ranks first in the number of child labourers followed by Bihar and Maharashtra.

8. The President of India Pranab Mukherjee has launched a mobile application "Selfie with Daughter" at Rashtrapati Bhavan, aimed at raising awareness among people about female foeticide and sex selection.

9. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare J.P.Nadda has been conferred the WHO Director General's Special Recognition Award for global tobacco control. India is the second largest tobacco consuming country in the world.

10. PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated India's longest river bridge- the Dhola Sadia bridge in Assam. He has also renamed the bridge as Bhupen Hazarika Bridge.
