Celebrating PEACE DAY

The International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day, is celebrated on September 21. This day is dedicated to peace, or specifically to the absence of war. The first year this holiday was celebrated was 1981.
2017- Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All. This theme is based on the TOGETHER global campaign that promotes respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes in search of a better life.
The students of DAV Pushpanjali School class VIII Primus participated in the Peace Day Celebration by writing quotes on peace, on dove shaped and hand shaped pieces of paper, and creating a collage on the school display board. They pledged for NO TO VIOLENCE and work with each other with cooperation, tolerance and collaborative teamspirit.
