Special Assembly - Independence Day Celebration

  

A special assembly was conducted by class 8 Primus on 14 August 2017 to celebrate Independance day and Janamashtmi. Besides an inspirational thought and news, the girls of the class created an atmosphere of patriotism by singing the famous song "Ma tujhe salaam". The speeches by Vishal and Tanush and facts presented by Pranav, Aarthak, Sampan and Tripti increased awareness about India's struggle for freedom. Overall an atmosphere of patriotism was created in the minds of all teachers and students present there.
Class 5 students performed by playing various patriotic songs on different instruments.
Class 1 and 2 students spoke about their favourite freedom fighter and were dressed up like them. The festival of Janamashtmi was also spoken about and a girl performed a beautiful dance in dedication to Lord Krishna.
Overall the festive spirit could be felt and enjoyed by all the teachers ans students present there.
