Class 7- Standard form / Scientific notation of expressing very small or very large numbers in exponential form was explained & Questions 3,4 of worksheet 7 done in class.
Homework: Q1,2 of worksheet 7 and Brain Teasers Q11,12

Class 8- Report cards for the result of First Term Exams were handed over to the parents in the morning.
Chapter-11 Understanding Quadrilaterals was introduced and main points written in the register.
Homework: To complete and submit the assignment on previous chapters-Polynomials & Exponents.

Maths work in class 8 today: Maths Lab activities were done in scrapbook. Homework : Bring assignments of all chapters done in assignment register. All assignments have already been discussed in class. Sample paper given in sample paper booklet to be done in class in assignment register. Prepare for a 3 hour test of full syllabus on 31 August. Maths work in class 7 today: Assignment of Perimeter & Area chapter discussed. To be completed at home and submitted tomorrow. Homework : Bring assignment register for revision. Topic for tomorrow: Ch-1 Rational Numbers
