Daily log 16/11/17

Class 7 - "Data Handling" chapter was introduced and formula for calculating mean was explained. Eg.1.2. done in class.
Homework - Q1,2 of W/S-1

Class 8 - Examples 8,9,10,11 were discussed & solved in class where the formula for finding Compound Interest & Amount is applied to different situations where Principal, Rate or Time are missing.
Homework- Q6,8,9,10,11 of W/S-3

Class 7 - Doubts in making double bar graphs were discussed and students completed W/S-4 of "Data Handling" in class and submitted all graphs done as a "Project". Homework- Q3,4 of W/S-1 on calculating mean and range. Class 8 - Revision of "Understanding Quadrilaterals" was done and students completed the assignment given on the chapter. Maths work in class 8 today: Maths Lab activities were done in scrapbook. Homework : Bring assignments of all chapters done in assignment register. All assignments have already been discussed in class. Sample paper given in sample paper booklet to be done in class in assignment register. Prepare for a 3 hour test of full syllabus on 31 August. Maths work in class 7 today: Assignment of Perimeter & Area chapter discussed. To be completed at home and submitted tomorrow. Homework : Bring assignment register for revision. Topic for tomorrow: Ch-1 Rational Numbers
