SOPAAN- Exhibition 2017

An exhibition, in a most general sense, means an organised presentation and display of a selection of items. A school exhibition provides students a platform to showcase their hardwork in the form of projects and also perform cultural events. The school organised the Sopaan Exhibition 2017- a comprehensive endeavour involving each class, student, subject and an interdisciplinary approach to assimilate the concepts of social science. The Chief Guests were Sh.R.S.Sharma, Gen. Sec. DAVCMC, Chairman DAVPS PE and Sh. Tejpal Singh, Curator (Archaelogy) National Museum. All parents were also cordially invited to witness and be a part of the school's experimental stride. The topic for class 8 of DAV Primus was "Futuristic Relevance of feats & accomplishments of Modern India". An Oath to Remember..

The Investiture ceremony of Junior Council & prize distribution ceremony for academic achievers of 2016-17 was held on 19 July 2017 in the school auditorium. Students who will form the school's junior council and interact club for this year were given badges and took an oath to work for the betterment of the school. Parents of these students were also invited to be a part of the function. The council of the Primus section of the school had students of classes 6-8 some of who performed a skit on "Rights & Duties".

Inter-house Play Competition - July- Class 8

An Inter-house play competition was conducted on 12 July 2017 in the class where students showcased their ideas and opinions on the topic "My Interpretation of Charity". The event titled 'Stage for a Cause' aimed at giving the students an opportunity to work together as a team, bring out original ideas through their scripts, display their acting talent and appreciate each other. Each house was allotted 4-5 minutes and each member of the house had to participate. They were judged by a parent invited for the purpose and were marked on content relevance, presentation and team-coordination.
